Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) is a computer printing system for operating systems that are Unix like, allows these computers to act as very powerful printing servers. A host computer runs the CUPS and allows things that need to be printed to be sent from client computers, it processes them and send the job to the printer it need to go on.
