DTP is the abbreviation for desktop publishing. This is the process of using a computer and DTP software for the creaqtion and editing of documents for publishing in print or online. Examples of DTP software include; Adobe InDesign and Quark Express for professionals, Microsoft Publisher for beginners and Scribus in the open source arena. While most DTP applications are designed primarily for print publication, they all support exporting facilities for publishing hyperlinked documents on the web. |
