All webpage s viewable on the internet must be stored on a computer connected to the internet. This computer is said to be providing web hosting for the webpage. Although not a requirement, most websites actually reside on computers provided by 3rd party companies which specialize in offering the computers and internet connections for a monthly fee. These companies are called web hosts.
