The taskbar
is a Microsoft
Windows
technology that is a graphic on screen representation of all of your currently
running tasks (software
applications). The
taskbar
enables you to see what is currently running as well as enable you to easily
switch foreground tasks by selecting (clicking on) another running tasks
representation on the
taskbar. In
Windows the
taskbar also
enables extra personalized menus, a quick launch menu as well as hosting the
start menu (button), system tray (further iconified running tasks or services)
and the system clock. The
taskbar can
be dragged and snapped to any edge of the desktop. |
