The Credit System (v0.1 last updated on 31 May 2007) The credit system is the heart of our project as it is used to calculate how much money you will receive at the end of the month. For every action you do that adds value, you will earn credits. How is the money distribution calculated ?
Steps	Example
Step 1: At the end of the month we calculate the profit
step 2: We also calculate the total number of credits all members have earned in the last 12 months.
Step 3: We now calculate how much one credit is worth
Step 4: We can now calculate how much each member is going to be paid.
How can you earn credits?
There are 3 ways to earn credits.
1. Defined Tasks
For example: Depending on what the site needs, new tasks will be added others removed or the value changed If the task can be measured automatically, you will receive the credits instantly. If not, for example, a backlink, we will make a tool that allows you to claim the credits.
2. Custom Work
Once we are live we will need, for example, new pieces of functionality. These pieces of functionality will be posted in reverse auction format. People can bid on these pieces of work. The lowest bid will be assigned the piece of work. Be aware - all work packages will also have a deadline and quality criteria. If you fail to deliver on time or on quality you could loose credits.
3. Rewards & Bonusses
If you have done something exceptional, you can get an extra bonus. For example you have generated 100 pages of high quality content in the last month you might get an extra bonus on top of the credits you have already earned with generating the content. These bonusses can be defined upfront as an incentive or rewarded for exceptional contributions.
4. Other Work
If you have done some work that does not fall under any of the above categories and you feel that it has added some value, you can let us know. We will review it and if it has added value we promise we will reward you for it.
